Barbara and I spent five years in rrefuge work in West Berlin and 35years doing pastoral work in East Ohio. We had 10 years in retirement in my hometown of Lexington, Ky, volunteering in a couple of mission oriented congregations.
During the past five years I developed ALS (Lou Gherig's disease.) We have been very fortunate in that the illness has progressed only gradually. however, that pace has changed and we have moved to Nashville, TN to be near family. God has been a strong presence we know we will be sustained through some probably rocky days ahead.
